The Titanic Trail endeavours at all times to provide and improve sustainability in all of our efforts and operations.
Environmental
As a company that provides outside historical walking tours we advocate the benefit of outdoor exercise while learning. On the only tour where we provide any sort of transport (our Titanic Train Excursions) we utilise public transport in the form of a train. Our company also refrains from using a motor vehicle to run messages around Cobh related to tours and instead uses a 125cc scooter believing that to be less harmful to the environment. In general we seek a ‘Leave no Trace ‘ policy for participants on our tours.
We point out water refill options for the visitors. With meeting points on the street or in public places for all tours we have zero requirements for waste and water disposal from offices.
Health and Safety
We have an active health and safety policy in operation and ensure employees and visitors are aware of hazards, Risks and Contingencies
Social and Ethical
The Titanic Trail welcomes ALL visitors and clients regardless of beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identification, physiological, psychological or biological preference or difference. We are allies of the LGBTQ+ community and all its diversity. You are valued, cherished and will always be made welcome by our company in this part of the world.
All our employees are paid rates far and above the minimum wage.
